After Twitter, Facebook integrates finally gifs on timeline.

Facebook changed its operations and now provides direct publishing of gifs on the timeline. Good news! Gifs are all over the Internet.

But Facebook could not stand up to these days. Now, when you post a gif in your feed, your friends will no longer be directed to another page when they click on it. They can directly read the gif. By cons, unlike Twitter who suggested this feature before its competitor, it is not possible to upload directly gifs from his office. You must go through as hosts gifs giphy , gfycat or imgur.

This new option is part of the will to Facebook to keep as long as possible its users on its site. It accompanies the offensive of the social network by Mark Zuckerberg thought to integrate directly online media news.
