Facebook has introduced Signal. Signal allows journalists look new, which they currently may still visit Twitter.

Several Indian companies have pulled out of the project Internet.org of Facebook, where phone users in emerging countries can make free use of certain Internet.

According to the companies, including travel site Cleartrip and media company Times Group, the project is contrary to the principle of net neutrality. Telecom providers do not offer certain free services through their network. That happens through Internet.org where to use some online services, including Facebook, no data costs are included. The costs are paid by the company behind the service, which makes it difficult for smaller companies to get involved because they can not bear these costs.

According to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to net neutrality and the free provision of services exist with each other. It is according to the CEO better that people who do not have access to the Internet in this way can still make use of some basic services.
