Apple announced HomeKit first devices to be available in June


The first smart devices for the home that run on Apple's platform HomeKit will appear next month. The Apple spokeswoman confirmed it on The Wall Street Journal.

Apple announced the HomeKit platform nearly a year ago at the Worldwide Developers Conference. The idea is that Apple iPhone or iPad can turn into a control system for a range of smart home appliances worth under thermostats, garage doors and locks. Through HomeKit, the devices can communicate with each other and are connected to iPhone or iPad.

Since a few months, HomeKit is available for developers and Apple expects the first HomeKit accessories next month on the market. Possible that the company announces the first product at the Worldwide Developers Conference which begins June 8.
