Noomi Rapace plays Amy Winehouse in biopic

Noomi Rapace is in talks for the role as the now deceased singer Amy Winehouse in the eponymous biopic.
This was reported by The Wrap.
Irish director Kirsten Sheridan (Dollhouse) is currently in talks with father Mitch Winehouse, who has the rights to the music of the singer in possession.
The filmmakers are convinced that the public is ready for a film about the life of Winehouse, especially after the great success of the documentary Amy.
Winehouse died in July 2011 at the age of 27 with alcohol poisoning.
