Sony has finally formalized the smartphone Xperia Z4 which was renamed for its international deployment in Xperia Z3 +. The Xperia Z3 + was released in Japan under the name Sony Xperia Z4 but preferred to play safe by releasing its latest smartphone internationally.
The external differences between the Xperia and Xperia Z3 Z3 + is minimal (see our handling of the Xperia Z3 ). The Z4 baptized could create confusion in the minds of consumers. We remember the Samsung Galaxy S5 that had not been very enthusiastic. We must therefore see the Xperia Z3 + as a smartphone update rather than a breaking device.
On paper, the Xperia Z3 + does not miss assets. It has a screen of 5.2-inch 1080p (the same as the Z3), a 20.7 MP camera rrière (ditto). The front camera passes 5,1MP. The appearance of the Xperia + Z3 is the same as that of its predecessor.
The smartphone is however finer with only 6,9mm thick against 7.3 mm for the old model. It weighs 144g. The microUSB port has also been moved to the bottom of the smartphone.
Sony-xperia-Z3-plus-white
The embedded processor is now a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM along. The battery is 2900mAh. It gives the Xperia Z 3 + a 2-day battery life but of course everything depends on what is done with.
Sony announced that in just 45 minutes, the Xperia Z3 + can recover a range of daily use, thanks to Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 charger. Sony does not specify what kind of use it is.
Sony does not abandon the IP65 certification and 68 which means that you can always roll in the dust a dip in the pool with the Xperia Z3 +.
The smartphone is expected in June, version one or two SIM and the price is still uncertain.
