Google will display content from apps for iOS in mobile search results. The company said this Wednesday in a blog post. Android apps have long been indexed, as the process is called.

People with an iPhone or iPad may soon find iOS apps as they enter a search query in the browser Chrome and the Google app.
Apps for Apple's mobile operating system can then be accessed directly from the search engine, which is now already possible with Android.
Google will test the function in the coming weeks with a selected number of apps. Developers still need to make some minor adjustments before their app is included in the search results.
