The first Apple Watch firmware update arrived this week. If it has improved the responsiveness of the watch, it nevertheless caused a malfunction in the heart rate data record. Several sites, including 9to5Mac have indeed reported this concern.

Originally, before the arrival of the 1.0.1 version of OS Watch, the system of the watch recording the heart rate was determined in every 10 minutes. Since the update, it is not at all the case. Some users even claim that the display time of the heart rate is sometimes more than three hours. However, during physical activities and provided with applications for that, the sensor operates quite normally.

Apple just clarify this story explaining that this is actually an intentional modification. Thus, when the wearer of the watch which moves the arm is attached to the watch, it does not take care to raise the heart rate consistently. The latter, however, remains measured in the rest condition every ten minutes. Similarly Apple says that it remains possible to make a statement manually. However, this change suggests that Apple wanted to increase the autonomy of the shows that way.

iOS 9
Apple Releases iOS 9 perhaps with a 'Google Now competitor'. According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is working behind the scenes for a long time, the personal assistant that includes voice assistant Siri, your contacts, your calendar and passbook must bring together.

The new service is currently called Proactive and very similar to Google Now. In iOS 9 it is probably a second home screen that sits to the left of the traditional home screen with icons, with previously hidden search engine Spotlight SAT. Just like Google, there should be screen that shows an overview of all kinds of information. Matters such as upcoming appointments, useful tips, the expected travel time for the next trip should be collected Proactive.

To ensure that the information in the Proactive future is extensive, the service is partially put open for third parties. With Siri development tool called Breadcrumbs, companies' small bits of information from their service or create searchable app within Siri. The doors of Siri and Proactive further implies relatively closed, has to do with the privacy of users. Apple wants to prevent third parties to quickly learn a lot about users.

On June 8, Apple may say more about iOS and 9 Proactive during developer conference WWDC.

The product designers at Apple seem to be interested in making a simple mobile hotspot. There is a patent surfaced of the company from the end of 2013 where such a device is described.

With a mobile hotspot, it is possible to set up a Wi-Fi network allowing several devices simultaneously can go online.

The device described in the patent has a shape of a cylinder contains no physical buttons, and can only be controlled via software - such as a corresponding app. Also, it is possible to link it to screw the device out of each other and a larger battery so that it lasts longer. Because of its size, the device is designed for the road, for example at the camp.

As with all patents, it is not clear whether the device will ever become reality.
